I was very busy and completely forgot to post my round-up for the 31st of March, so I will include it all in this post. I haven’t been too busy. I have almost mastered the art of time management with the help of Ta-da Lists from the guys at 37 Signals.
Mike Stopforth & 27 Dinner
I finally met one of the men behind Afrigator, Mike Stopforth. We spoke some random crap, nothing of interest. I guess I can take this opportunity to thank him for lunch and an honorable mention.
I also met some of the faces behind a lot of South African blogs, read about that over here. The 27 Dinners are a must attend for all geeks, marketers, media persons and entrepreneurs.
IOL Technology and BizCommunity
I now contribute to IOL Technology and BizCommunity. This reminds me, I really need to finish off a few drafts for Global Voices, who recently re-designed their site.
Student Sale beta
Student Sale is currently going through a private beta testing phase and will be more than ready on the 1st of May. I am really getting excited about this, I have a lot planned for the site in the coming weeks and months. All will be revealed in due time.
My First Podcast
I finally did my first podcast. Thank you for all the positive feedback! All comments have been taken into account and there are big plans for the podcast, all will be revealed in the next episode. Once again, a very special thank you to Gregor for his help. And another thank you to Victoire for her compliments.
That is all I can remember, just a shout out to all the Rhodes University students who attended graduation. Congratulations to Vincent Maher who has become a father. Lastly thanks to Paul Stamatiou for hooking me up with my twitter status plugin (see right).
Take Care
Ciao

Hey Tyler
Re: I have almost mastered the art of time management with the help of Ta-da Lists from the guys at 37 Signals.
You could use ZapTXT to bring you alerts when ever someone updates the Ta-Da List. Just add the RSS feed pn your Ta-Da list page into ZapTXT and everytime there’s a change you can elect to receive an IM, Skype or Email to know that someones made a change. Of course, if you are using this Ta-Da just for your self, I guess you dont need an alert eh?
We used it Ta-Da for one of our earlier releases and having change notifications pushed was pretty helpful.
Cheers, Sameer
Mike: Indeed.
Carls: *blush* *speechless*
Sameer: I will have a look at it.
It’s great to see guys like you creating a mark in this industry. Keep at it!
